What is FIRE?
The acronym stands for Financial Independence Retire Early. It’s an approach to personal finance with a simple goal: build an investment portfolio large enough to cover your expenses so you can live life on your terms.
Traditionally, the preferred investment assets of FIRE practitioners are stock market index funds and real estate. But bitcoin is the apex predator of financial assets, and it’s my view that it should play a significant (if not primary) role in everyone’s approach to becoming financially independent.
